Can I upload a 600 mg audio file

I tried using one drive to get a .wav file into a person's notes, but it wouldn't let me do it. Does anyone know how this can be accomplished? thanks.

H Bob, sign in as Administrator Them Edit. Select Files from Menu Then upload your Music .

You can now use a small Piece of HTML code to add to the Notes.

When I do that I get "Upload Failed" "File is too big max allowed is 50 Mb.

Les, thanks for the help. This is a very large audio file, 650 Mb. I can't email a file that large. Tribalpages allows a 50 Mb file to be uploaded. Maybe its not possible for me to get this onto tribalpages.

Hi have you tried reducing it. Here is the FREE site that I use

https://free-audio-editor.com/.

Otherwise if it is a MUSIC file find the YOUTUBE Video and use that.

Hi Bob. If you cut the AUDIO into smaller portions, you can then put them in HTML in your story to play , just like a long playing record. One after the other.

I do this with some of my MUSIC files and VIDEO See Screen shot

Hi Bob, very interested. Did the program help?.

You can reduce with the program, or try cutting it up.

If it is MUSIC, I know you said Audio can you tell me the Name?.

and I will try and find it.

I appreciate the help you have provided. The file is a 2 hr voice recording of an older relative's trip to Sweden to our ancestors home place in 1936. I transcribed the voice to a word doc and uploaded it to Tribalpages. He has passed but I recently spoke with his daughter who would dearly love to have the recording. I thought I could do it on Tribalpages, but realized there was a 50 mb limit, and I think 1000 mb limit for stories. I have several other lengthy stories on Tribalpages and don't want to exceed that limit either, especially since I already have the transcription there. I also don't want to break the recording into 13 files. I decided to get this to her through google docs.

I REALLY appreciate your offer of help Les. Thanks again.
